In Oriental Medicine diet is recognized as an integral part of maintaining health and well being. When a patient comes to me, I ask them to fill out a “diet diary,” listing everything they eat for an entire week. Then, in our next consultation, I discuss with the patient how their diet influences both their chief complaint and their general health. Often, I ask a patient to make small adjustments in their diet, to help them realize optimum energy and health.

Oriental Medicine is not limited to any one method of therapy exclusively. To learn more about other therapies I use, visit the Therapeutic Approaches page.
