What Can Acupuncture Treat?

Acupuncture can treat a long list of conditions, many of which may not have a Western diagnosis. It is common for people to visit their general practitioner for general feelings of unwellness, while being frustrated with receiving no diagnosis.

Oriental Medicine, of which acupuncture is only one component, offers a different perspective from that of Western Medicine. Oriental Medicine not only seeks to treat existing conditions, but also to identify and address patterns of disharmony in a person’s body, essentially preventing more serious conditions which are more easily identifiable within the Western diagnostic model, from developing later down the road.
